Mayor Issues Public Appeal To Support Haiti Relief Efforts
 
Greater Sudbury Mayor John Rodriguez will formally issue a public appeal for donations to support Haiti relief efforts. Representatives from the Sudbury Branch of the Canadian Red Cross will be in attendance to speak about their work to date and future missions. Red Cross volunteers will host a table in the foyer of Tom Davies Square, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. starting Friday, January 15, to collect donations on behalf of the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Fund. Residents are asked to give what they can Friday and again on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 18 to 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
